I had my bunny Snowy spayed on Wednesday, the 23rd. She stayed overnight at the vets and I brought her home Thursday. She did not want to eat or drink even with the Metacam. I syringe fed her water and she took a couple of bites of spinach that night but that was it. She perked up a lot the next day and was back to scarfing down pellets, pooping

As far as I know, my vet uses surgical glue that's on the inside. You're right about jumping shortly after the surgery, though. I guess she will go at her own pace and do what is comfortable for her.
It was nice to finally get the spay out of the way. It's not cheap, but totally worth it if it means Snowy lives a longer, happier life. All of my rabbits are officially spayed and neutered. I can't bond her with my two other buns because Penny attacks Snowy, but at least Snowy can have a friend now.
