We're donating millions to help people in third-world countries survive, yet we wait four days before trickling supplies in to help our own citizens.

oh, you should see my mom and dad. They just have yelling fits at the TV:
"what the HELL has he done?"
"rehnquist died? oh hell... this is bush's wet dream! He's gotta have a hard one!"
"oh my god, Bush came back from his vacation early! what a sacrifice! why the hell wasn't he in new orleans the same day!!!"

ha, i wish i could, but after they somehow heard about how i posted that discussion we had in the car about "make out parties" my mom has forbidden me to post any quotes from her or dad. she says that its bad enough that people like campbell know what they're like, they don't need me spreading it further.

the country is going to hell. heck, the world is going to hell. it old mom this and she told me that when she was my age she thought the same thing. i don't know what to make of that...

holy shit, i'm not alone, my parents do that too...they just really freak out and call him things i probably shouldn't repeat here. It used to bother me, not so much anymore, now that i completely agree with them...
