The hush sound

First off the Hush sound are the following people.

The guy at the back is Darren Wilson,he plays drums, front center is Robert Morris or Bob he's lead vocals, chronic lyric forgetter and guitar player, front left is Greta Salpeter she plays Piano but also sings alot of the hushies songs and front right is Christopher Faller or just Chris, he's the bass player but again lends vocals every now and then.

This is Pete Wentz and his famous pubic hair. This advert above is the main reason people know the hush sound. This is a traversty because they are an awesome band.

The hush sound sort of started when Bob met Greta.
Bob was in highschool and Greta was in the 7th grade. The couple was odd from the beginning because Greta is a classicaly trained pianist and Bob comes from a much rockier background.

Greta and Bob formed The Hush. ( Sound was added later as it turned out The hush was a rapper.) They started out as an accoustic band but quickly decided they needed more than just a piano and guitar.
This is where Darren comes in.

The couple now became a trio and played there first show in a friends basement, this performace was taped.
The very next day Darren invited Chris, who is in a few other local bands.
Chris liked what he heard and quit his bands to join The hush sound.

By the end of March of 2005, The Hush Sound took all the songs they had written into the studio to record their debut full length album. They named it "So Sudden"; a reflection on how quickly things were moving for the band. (as a DIY release with no label support at the time, they sold 300 CDs in two nights) (stolen from sweettangerine.net)

Only five months after the band started seriously writing and playing local shows, they gained the attention Of Pete Wentz. This attention was gained when Ryan Ross (of Panic! fame) looked at there Pure Volume page the day they were streaming so sudden. Mr Ross passed the link over to Pete Wentz who eventualy sighned them too his Decaydance label. So sudden as re-relased and The Hush sound were put on too The Black clouds and underdogs tour along side such SBR favourites such as Fall Out Boy.

It was during this time that the band started recording the follow up to So sudden, Like vines was produced by Sean O'Keefe and Patrick Stumph.

Like Vines was released on the 6.6.06, this didint prove to be unlucky for the band as they went on to tour with Label mates Panic! at the disco and The dresden dolls. Shortly after they toured with Jacks Mannequin and are currently on there first head lining tour.

Okay this is my first primer and I did an earlier picspam so that hopefully explains the lack of pictures.
Enjoy and if your interested I have a folder f Hushie video bits and both albums, which I'm more than willing to share.
