Pantyhose and beestings

So the lovely Katrina and I had a lunch date today, which was pretty amazing in itself, but it turned out to be pretty eventful. As we were trying to find a parking spot near Pita Jungle, we see a woman with a camera guy from news 15 just kind of hanging out in the parking lot. Which we thought was pretty weird. But as we got out of  the car, they were right there by us! And the lady asked if she could ask us a few questions about... pantyhose. Annnd we agreed. I don't know if opinions about pantyhose are the type of thing that makes it on local news these days, or whether our answers were intelligent or knowledgeable enough, but possibly catch us on Abc news talking about pantyhose? I'm not sure if/when these things show.

Oh, and as we were walking away, I feel some kind of buzzing thing sticking to my thumb, so I shook whatever it was off, AND IT WAS A FREAKING BEE! I can't say I actually saw the offending bee, but the stinger was left in my thumb. I've never been stung by a bee, so this was a new sensation to me. Jeez, it fucking hurt! Why did it doooo that :( I didn't do anything to it. So I wonder if on the film they caught me with a bee on my thumb, just hanging out. (Hm, I kinda feel like I won't be afraid of bees anymore, now that the terrible, unknown bee sting is known to me. This is a good thing, yes? Another lesson that shows fear is mostly fear of the unknown, which in most cases, probably isn't so bad...)

Also, Katrina is just wonderful! I kinda feel bad about saying that because people say we are like the same person. Which is really pretty true, in some odd ways. I mean, how many people do you know that attempted/are attempting to write a novel during the summer? (Which then you say, well I know this person and that person, and I'm writing one too... okay, maybe everyone does/says that) It's just weird little things like that. I'm predicting a summer with much Katrina hanging out-age.And all of the above just happened. I don't know why I feel compelled to write these things immediately on livejournal... it is kind of shocking when anything remotely exciting happens in my dull (summer) life.
