I SPENT ALL DAY YESTERDAY READING BONE. I got home from work around 4 or 5, and read until 3. It was great, I was taken into another world, and the best thing about it was that it was never boring, I never got somewhere where I felt I could put it down and come back in a few days. I liked a lot about it, I liked the way Jeff Smith described it 'I wanted to put Uncle Scrooge in the Lord of the Rings' Haha, yeah, that is what it felt like. Raw talent, from art to storytelling, Bone seems like it was written for someone like me. I saw a book in the comic book store yesterday, it was called 'Rose' and the whole thing was about Rose back in the day before the big War, and it was all in full color. It had young Lucius in it and everything. Anyway, I've also been reading American Splendor.. But I don't like it as much as the other guys do. It's alright, but it's like reading someone's depressing LJ. So.. Still looking for something to do. Sleep is far away.
