Happy 08/08/08!
Finally feeling settled into the new place. Since moving in, I feel more productive. I've written lots, and have been drawing more, coloring old line art which has just been sitting in my notebooks stuck in black and white for a while. And I've been cleaning up around the apartment and cooking too, the latter of which I actually enjoy, and the former I don't mind doing as much as I used to.
Tomorrow I have to finish cleaning out my old room at Jordan's Mom's house, since we ended up leaving a few things behind, but my Dad also called and told me he wants to pick me up tomorrow so I can see Uncle Peter, who is visiting my family with his girlfriend. So it's gonna be a busy day. :/
I think I'm going to start reading Watchmen. I saw the trailer for the movie when I went to see The Dark Knight, and I want to see the movie really badly, but I sort of feel lame for not reading the graphic novel, especially because I've been curious about it for a while now. I do wonder if reading the graphic novel would make me like the movie any less, if I find that I like the comic book version better... but I think I'll take that risk.
I still can't wait until people come to visit me. I miss my friends!
