for the last few years i've been having fun riding through the streets (sidewalks) of toronto on a push scooter, which my sister found at a value village for $8 or something. and while it's been fun, it's not built for adults, so i end up hunched over as i ride about. also it's pretty old and rusty.
i've decided i'm going to spring for an adult-sized xootr push scooter. i just have to decide which model. since carrying-weight matters to me, i've narrowed it down to the lightest models: the mg or the roma.
the mg is cheaper and has a wider deck, but the roma is half a pound lighter, folds up smaller, and i'm already used to the narrow base on the kids' scooter, plus it's supposed to be the 'fastest' and i love speeding around too fast on the crappy piece of rust i'm on now.
on the other hand... the wider deck of the mg might be more comfortable on longer jaunts.
i wish i could test ride both of them, but there are no local dealers that i know of.
