(no subject)
not much to say, except that i changed my layout to one of the new ones (giant monster rampaging through a city! w00t!), and that i am psyched for the upcoming toronto after dark film festival (sci-fi/fantasy/horror). no giant monster movies will be featured, alas. i'm actually volunteering for some of it. the movies i will likely see are: special, shinobi and funky forest. possibly others, if i can squeeze them in... i might be able to see parts of some others, but the volunteering schedule overlaps with a lot of movies, obviously.
also, i am considering camping out for a few hours (not overnight!) monday morning to get in line for PS3 pre-orders at ebgames. it's pretty foolish: i've never camped out to buy anything before, let alone a console (and an expensive one at that) -- usually i wait till after the first price drop before i buy a new console -- but it might be fun. i just have to decide which ebgames to visit...
and why doesn't ebgames canada have its own, real website? lame!
EDIT: gruberman and others might be interested to know that pre-orders for the nintendo wii also start monday :)
