Week in review
Okay. So. Week in review.
Work - Same as usual. Having to humor customers, as I visually stated in an earlier entry has made me emotionally dead. My ability to act like I care while not making it obvious that I don't has increased dramatically. I hate this job, trying to get one at the campus bookstore instead.
Day off - Friday - Went to the mall. Bought PRHYTHM by the Japanese Pop singer Angela. It's very good. Also bought Millenium Snow Vol. 1 and Ouran Vol 2. Both are very good. Bought Salt Water Taffy and Yogurt Pretzels. Very Good. Had a slice of Cozolli's Pizza. Good, but not as good as before they were bought by Villa Pizza. Pros - not as greasy. Cons - smaller. Much, MUCH smaller but same price. Had fun. Oh! ALSO! While I was at FYE getting PRHYTHM, they started playing some songs that I really liked. I asked about the band and it was Peter Bjorn. I'll check out his music next day off. (I'm off Wednesday and Thursday.)
I'm a little proud because I actually got myself to ask. I couldn'y do that before. :3
OOOOH! And FYE has the Batman Animated Series (from the 90's!) on DVD. It's a little expensive (40 dollars per set) but I really wanna get it. *____*
That cartoon was the best one! Yes, I DO like "The Batman" (Hey, shut up!) but "Batman: The Animated Series" was the BEST. Mafia Scarface, Suit and Bowler Riddler and Baby Dahl? Hell yes.
Saturday - Worked until 1:00 am. I hate this job. Leaaaaaave youuuuur bodyyyyyy, Meeeeellll~
Today! Sunday! My mom was off too, so we went to the MyThan Asian grocery at the Austin Chinatown. They Got so much new stuff since I went there last! I ended up buying a lot of stuff for the days when I don't get a lunch break (Three days this week! DX). Lots of ramune, some mochi (Strawberry and Honeydew), Instant curry (House brand! Is it sad that I recognized the brand from "Yakitate!! Japan!"?), some little cakes, White Rabbit candy and some gum. It was FUN! I never get to hang with my mom anymore so that was nice. Next time I go to Austin with friends, WE'RE GOING TO THIS STORE! And I suggest we check out the Chinese BBQ place. It looks good.
Hopefully, I can get a job at the campus bookstore. After only a month of working at the store, I already hate it so hard. I mean, I know I probably shouldn't complain because there ARE worse jobs, but...WhenI go back to school I can't be working until midnight every night. They wouldn't let me study during my downtime probably. Also, I work all weekend. My sister is come from Dallas this weekend and I won't be abelto hang out with her. TT^TT
That reminds me. I want to do some art so badly, but I can't think of anything. Damnit.
