I hate the Arguing Channel (AKA Fox News).
I mean, I really hate it.
Just now they had 2 people arguing... ARGUING HEATEDLY... about whether the housing slump was over or not. Why the heck is it necessary to argue about this subject? Can't we just frickin' debate things in a civilized fashion? I mean, at least I understand arguing about politics or abortion, but the real estate market?
I blame the McLaughlin Group and his style of interrupting and arguing with people by talking louder than them. Fox News took this formula, added a split screen, and created a monster. If I could go back in time and stop anyone from doing something, it would be him.
I mean, does America really need this kind of acrimony on a day-to-day basis?
And is the Arguing Channel a cause or a symptom of today's kinder, gentler America (sic)?
