Wisdom from Dowell:
- Only buy tonic water in cans
- Your weekly diet should include one whole chicken (thats 4 meals for 2!)
- Keep trying to get Linux to work for you
- Unless you are an estate agent, you can't make money in the property market
- Reality, when it comes down to it, is survival, and with a little preparation, reality is pretty easy, and damn fun
- Go running tomorrow morning
- Put things you like on your walls
- If there is something you want, work out what the first thing you have to do to earn it is, then do it
- Sleep is far more important than you think
- Be confident, but remain fearful of arrogance
- You don't need the internet
- Computers, and all other tools, are there to help you, not the other way around
- You don't need a new computer
- Loose your headphones for a week
- Write down a list of everything you want, now stop, cross out everything on that list that you don't want; repeat
- Carry a (small, LEGAL!) knife for a week, you'll be surprised by how much easier life gets
- Everyone has a reason for their point of view.
- Evolution moulded us to use tools, thats millions of years of experience, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
