Miranda made me a mother's day card. She said that she likes me because I give her lots of hugs, and I buy her special things that she wants, and because my favorite color is teal.

I'm sure that last one makes sense if you're five.

Well, yeah! If your favorite color were black, you would be a bad mommy who wouldn't be deserving of a Mother's Day card despite those other qualities you possess...

Did you get a macaroni necklace or a handprint with a poem? I think my mom got one of those EVERY year, lol!

I got a poem, but not handprint. I've already gotten two handprints this year, though, so it's okay.
