What did you do in 2008 that you'd never done before?
-Lived a little.
Did you keep your New Year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
-Don't think so, since I've found myself repeating the same list all over again. I did keep the 'be more of a dork and less of a dweeb' bit though. I'm planning on adding 'stick to your diet and exercise plans, woman!' and 'aren't you supposed to be studying?' to the list. Hopefully those two I get to accomplish.
Did anyone close to you give birth?
-Yay for le first pamangkin!
Did anyone close to you die?
-In what sense? I've seen a few emotional deaths from a few close friends; that's about it.
What countries did you visit?
-Just did provincial trips this year. Planning on going to the land of the Koalas some time soon!
What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?
-Self-esteem, common sense, and a whole lot of backbone. Oh, can I has moneez too?
What date from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
-I have the memory of a fish so even if I had one, that part of my brain with the etched memory has already disappeared.
What was your biggest achievement of the year?
-Losing all my halatang-galing-ka-sa-ibang-bansa-ineng weight :D
What was your biggest failure?
-Gaining the weight back D: (though it's more of a healthy aba-naparami-ata-kain-mo-nung-pasko-noh kind of figure now)
Did you suffer illness or injury?
-Fevers, colds, ebola, the usual.
What was the best thing you bought?
-Sanuks! (not for me, though LOL)
Whose behavior merited celebration?
-Pfft.
Whose behavior appalled you and made you depressed?
-PFFFFT.
Where did most of your money go?
-Food food fooood (both for school and for myself), clothes, unnecessary ang-cute-naman-nitey! things, gifts for friends/people, school books and photocopies.
What did you get really, really, really excited about?
-A whole lot of things that turned out to be really, really, really disappointing.
What song/s will always remind you of 2008?
-Weezer's "Pork and Beans" for I don't know what reason. Maybe coz it captures the randomness of my 2008. And "Bubbly" by Colby What's-her-face.
Compared to this time last year, are you:
a. Happier or sadder?
-Happier I guess, if we're talking about this time last year as in this moment specifically.
b. Thinner or fatter?
-Thinner. Finally.
c. Richer or poorer?
-UGH CAN I HAS A RAKETS PLZ!
What do you wish you'd done more of?
-Been more assertive and vocal. Definitely working on it this year as requested by le kuya.
What do you wish you'd done less of?
-EAT! -> I'd have to agree with Louella on this one! Also, procrastinate. And whine.
How did you spend Christmas?
-Pigging out with family on Christmas eve, Pigging out with the boyfriend on Christmas day.
Did you fall in love in 2008?
-Yes, with the same person I fell in love with in 2007. -> AY LOOWELA PAHIRAM NG SAGOT!
What was your favorite TV program?
-I wasn't able to watch TV much, though The Food Network probably tops that list still.
Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
-Hate = understatement.
What was the best book you read?
-Jodi Picoult's My Sister's Keeper! Lovely, lovely read.
What was your greatest musical discovery?
-Omar's There's Nothing Like This.
What did you want and get?
-A lovely black, white, and red striped jacket from F&H, plus permission to bring the car to school everyday.
What did you want and not get?
-A life. LOL and more of its surprises.
Favorite film of this year?
-Iron Man! Bolt! Yes No Cat Dog! Ay film lang daw pala!
What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
-Bente-oh-no. Spent the whole day in school then my parents and boyfriend threw a surprise party for me at our grandparents' house.
What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
-A pair of Croc maryjanes and a free trip to Boracay. What? I'm easy to please!
How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2008?
-Comfy, accidentally color coordinated (from the shirt to the slippers to the underwear).
What kept you sane?
-Walking around places on my own, and jogging. And the company of people who speak laughter as a first language.
Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
-SHIA LABEOUF <3
What political issue stirred you the most?
-The Jun Lozada series.
Who did you miss?
-A whole lot of people. Yes, including you.

-Not being able to stand up for myself and all that drama shiz.
