So, my project has changed shape. Instead of creating alternative bags (because let's face it, there are a ton of alternative bags already out there), I'm focusing on recycling/repurposing plastic grocery bags in crafty ways.
I'd still love to get together and craft stuff with anyone who wants to. It's kind of amazing, the things you can create out of plastic bags, really. There's tremendous stuff you can do with an iron, for example, if you can sew and aren't afraid of hurting yourself with the hot thing.
If we do get together and play plastic crafty, I'd really appreciate it if I could take any/all created items into my class session on May 4 to show to the group. Then I'll return them, I promise.
