Everybody's workin' for the weekend...
Ok, some life stuff to post in my journal.
I started my new job today - I had thought I'd be starting this past weekend but some weird shit happened and I didn't start until today. I'm a manager of a GameStop. If ya gotta work in retail at least work with something you know and love already. Just got back from the store not too long ago. Normally I won't be there any later than 9:30 but tonight at midnight we did a 12:01 release of the PSP. We took in over $2000 in revenue in under 45 minutes. Wicked cool. My new boss is pretty cool and I have tomorrow off. Closing Friday night and with skobo out of town I'll probably have to call the Empire meeting for Friday.
I'm kinda tired but overall relieved. It's not much money but it's something and it will do Deana and me a world of good. Hopefully she'll get a dozen great offers from companies all over town who can't wait to hire her soon and everything will be even better.
As for now: the world makes sense once again.
