I've been busy and burnt and uninspired so I've been not typing much and just reading what you all are typing. Watching you closely. In fact, how do you know that I'm not outside your home right now, peeking into your window occasionally?
Last week Monday I was busy attending a lecture by Deepak Chopra. I have a few of his books and I find his views of eastern philosophy interesting but I wasn't sure if I wanted to pay money to see him. I decided at the last minute to go since it was right there at the Masonic Center at the same time I usually drive past it on my way home from work (Chopra might call it synchronicity) and he's only been to this city 3 times. I also recently saw a youtube clip of him where he was on a Fox News show and ripped the channel a new one for promoting the Iraq war, which earned him bonus points with me and factored into my decision. I'm glad I went as he gave a very interesting talk about some of the things he's raised controversy over.
When I was setting up my new iPod I thought it was asking for a playlist name so typed in the word "ass" just to get past the screen and finish the setup but it turns out it was asking for a device name for the iPod. So now my iPod is named "ass" whenever I connect it to iTunes, and when it's syncing a message appears that says "backing up ass".
