Now, many of you might not recall my high school fascination (obsession) with pro-wrestling. I was a GINORMOUS fan of a wrestler called Gangrel, a vampire type character. I have every single one of his WWF matches on tape. All of them. And they were not, by the way, released as an official video or dvd or anything like that. So. I was really into it. After he was let go, and WWF became WWE and acquired WCW and ECW and things went down hill, I stopped watching. But I've been on again off again watching, especially because of the revival of the ECW brand, the ECW PPV last year, and an ECWvWWE type show I watch tonight, which is what directly leads to this. After watching, I ran to wikipedia to relearn about some of my favourite ECW wrestlers, as the brand will have a weekly show on the ScFi channel. And I popped on to the wikipedia page for David Heath (Gangrel)

Return to the WWE - ECW brand

In June 2006 it has been reported that Heath has been approached by WWE officials to sign for the new ECW brand. The reason being that the Sci-Fi channel requested some sci-fi elements be added to the show to appeal to their normal audience and vampires was an accepted angle, after rejecting aliens. David Heath accepted and signed with the WWE. While not official yet, it is assumed he will be on the ECW Brand.
