The first day
So, that was the first day in an office job. Wasn't too bad, although most of the day was taken up in not-entirely tedious Induction stuff and filling out paperwork. Only got a couple-few hours in the department I'll be working in, and pretty much all of that was looking on helplessly. We'll see how a full day of it goes tomorrow.
Although, I am rather amused at myself for already plotting how to get my grubby little pawses on a permanent desk, so I can do what a large chunk of the staff there have done, and decorate the hell out of it in GeekStuff™. Walking into the Cubicle Farm was like joining the NerdHerd.
So, let's see how I feel after some more of this.
