This meme has been highly infectious lately, and I just gave up after seeing it for the third or fourth time on my FList. So, without further ado....

And the questions I was asked:
1. How did you obtain your aquatic nickname - describe the first person to use it.
Um. *blush* Ghoti is the shortened form, the long version was "Drinks like a fish, *rest edited to maintain some semblance of dignity* Who was the first person to use it? I couldn't say. I was (literally) falling down drunk at the time, and (mercifully) remember very little of that night. (Which was way back in about May 1993, for those who might be interested.)
2. Name one movie you wish they'd made, and one you wish they never had. Why?
I'd love to see a movie made based on Finder, if they could do it whilst staying true to the theme/tone of the book.
As for a movie i wish had never been made, hmmm, too many bloody awful movies to call on that one, I think.
3. What is the last book you read? Do you think I would like it?
Well, the last book I've finished reading was the eBook of Exodus, part of the Starfire series of military space opera. I doubt that it'd be your thing. (It's actually a lot better than the cover makes it look, not that that's saying much.) The last physical book I've read it was The Harlequin, which I'd be a bit surprised if you didn't like it.
4. Describe your primary fandom/geekish activity.
Reading! I read at the very least a couple of books a week, sometimes more, and it's not unusual to have several books running at the same time. I also do a lot of net surfing, computer gaming, online and otherwise, but overall I read more than anything else.
5. The library of Alexandria is burning down around you. If you could only save one item, what would it be?
Just one? Bugger that. I'd save as many as possible. At the very least, I'd grab a solid double-armful of things. And then I'd make certain to add the luddite scumbags that started it to the flames.
