Giles and I took Tristan to Ralph's the other evening. It went well, I think. Giles isn't comfortable with encouraging Tristan to hunt demons, but he finally gave in and Tristan will be using some of our research books to learn more about the different demons. I say if he's going to do it he may as well know all he can. It reminded me of everyone not wanting me to talk about orgasms when Dawn's in the room with us. She's going to have them someday, we should make sure she is well informed before she does it.

Buffy's Birthday of Doom was a few days ago. Of course it can't be a normal celebration, we have to have demons and portals for her. This year the party was at Xander and Maddy's house. The only demons there were Spike and Angel, but there was singing. Well, the whole town has been singing and dancing, but it was fun to see Xander and Maddy sing about donuts. Angel singing some long song about Mandy and the Copa Cabana was not fun. He may be excellent in bed but he can not sing.

Giles has been researching because the singing did not stop when Buffy's birthday did. But for a Buffy birthday disaster I don't think this was a bad one.

*opens the till to count the day's profits when music begins to play*

" I've got the brains, you've got the books
Let's make lots of money
You've got the brawn, I've got the brains
Let's make lots of money"

*dances out from behind the counter over to where Giles is researching*

"You can see I'm single-minded, I know what I could be
How'd you feel about it, come and make a buck with me

I'm looking for new products, at a minor expense
Think about it seriously, you know it makes sense

Oh, there's a lot of opportunities
If you know when to take them, you know
There's a lot of opportunities
If there aren't, you can make them
Make or break them"

*dances around Giles, waving bills in the air*

"I've got the brains, you've got the books
Let's make lots of money
You've got the brawn, I've got the brains
Let's make lots of money"

*sits with a flair on top of the table, smiling as the music ends*

Well, that was fun!
