They had a memorial service for Candace this afternoon. We had to close the shop to attend. When we got back there were a few customers waiting outside to purchase our Vampire Repelling Kits that include a bottle of holy water and a cross. At least they waited for us to return instead of shopping somewhere else.
Giles was able to get a look at the seal that was used in the ritual sacrifice last week. He's been researching it ever since. He seems very disturbed by some of the things he's found. I can always tell his level of disturbance by how much he polishes his glasses and he's been polishing them a lot. Well, some of it is because of Willow's decision to deactivate the extra slayers without telling anyone first. Not that she consults all of us before she does a spell, but I had thought she was trying to be more responsible with her magic.
Buffy is missing now, too. The last person who saw her was Willow, but she was busy putting Angel's soul back into him. I thought the curse had been altered to take out the happiness clause? Buffy shouldn't be sleeping with Angel anyway, no matter how crazy Spike is. It's unfortunate that a new Orb of Thesula isn't needed everytime she has to do that spell. I could make a fortune selling them to her with as often as Angel loses his soul.
