How's that for a spectrum? This isn't my writing soundtrack (although I do love all these songs) but rather "theme songs" of sorts for each character and couple and two Ensembles. In random order since idek.

1. Ensemble. This is pretty much a song that defines the group. Despite their (near-constant) bickering, they're all right and going to the end of the line with each other. I think the line everyday is judgement day is also fitting, but for reasons I won't divulge at the moment.
2. Julian and Takoda's Couple Theme. This is perfect, and not just because I imagine Julian as having this really deep voice and Takoda as higher-pitched.
3. Zahra's Theme. She's the glue that holds everyone together and I wanted to get across that mysterious quality of hers that I have so far been unable to in writing.
4. Briar and Meivu's Couple Theme. Only after Meivu admits it though.
And I never wanted anything from you // except everything you had and // what was left after that too, oh
5. Takoda's Theme. I never meant any harm to you...
6. Second Ensemble. (This was also my graduation song - it fits me personally too.)
So much love to make up // everywhere you turn // love we have wasted on the way // so much water moving underneath the bridge // let the water come and carry us away
7. Takoda and Zahra's Couple Theme. He really worships her and she did, in essence, rescue him.
She walked up to me so gracefully // and took my crown of thorns // come in, she said, I'll give you // shelter from the storm
8. Briar and Meivu's Second Couple Theme. Pre-Meivu getting hit over the head with the cluebat.
9. Meivu's Theme. This has a kind of suave, seductive quality to it, I think.
10. Briar's Theme. Had to do an instrumental for this one because of - well, you'll see eventually.
11. Julians Theme. This one was hard, but I think it fits. He's had to be strong all his life and it ended up hurting him in the long run.
12. Iren's Theme. Pure adrenaline from start to finish.
13. Juilian and Takodas Second Couple Theme. Less of the lovey-dovey, this time. I think Takoda would love all the little nosds to pop culture too.
How can I help it if I think you're funny when you're mad? // trying hard not to smile though I feel bad // I'm the kind of guy who laughs at a funeral // can't understand what I mean // well you soon will!
14. Côme's Theme. He's the kind of guy who is gentle but has a bit of a dark side. I exaggerated that dark side with this song.
15. Conri's Theme. Completely random, the shuffle put the twins together. Anyway, Conri has a bit of a martyr thing going on. Some of his angst is justified, however...
16. Takoda and Meivu's Couple Theme. (Yes, he is the group bicycle.) These two are a disaster when put together, but that didn't stop them from trying at one point and still flirting with each other now. Ignore the abuse vibes here - that is an unfortunate misfit.
