i've got a new chick
do you guys know that one blonde chick that works at bojangles? her name is Janien and i finally grew the balls to ask her out. she's 16 (close to 17 i think) and she's really nice. i found out on tuesday when she worked next and i went on friday to ask her out. i got to the register and this one chick next to her is all like "didn't you come here the other day asking for her?" and i felt like an idiot. so i introduce myself and Janien says nice to meet you. so i got some tea and waited for the line to die down. when it finally did, i went and got a biscuit and she told me my cologne smelled really good and then i asked her if she wanted to go out for coffee or dinner or something and she said yeah and i got her number!!!!! i was happy and i had this stupid grin on my face all the rest of the night. so that was yesterday. today i woke up around 1:00pm and talked to some people online and checked the surf and called Janien. then i went surfing from 2:00-6:00. it was huge. very big and paddling out was hard cause you've got these big waves breaking on your head and pushing you back. so i saw a couple of guys i knew and we went surfing somewhere else for a while and then i went back and was able to get out finally. it was cool. check the surf at www.eastcoastsurf.com/index2.cfm and you'll see what i mean. unfortunately, i noticed that my board has a cracked part on it and water got into it. i took it to action surf shop and they said that i need to dry it out and after a few days i'm going to put some fiberglass resin on it. oh well. i've got another board so i'm not going to miss out on all the surf. so...i haven't had much else interesting going on in my life. class has been going fine. i've got wednesday off from school cause the president is cool enough to realize that gas prices are screwing students so he made the day optional for classes. so i've got chemistry in the morning and after that i've got the day free. hopefully Janien and i will be able to do something then. she's working the whole weekend and we'll go and do something on tuesday. she told me though that i have to meet her mom before we go out. that's totally fine with me and her friend that works at bojangles told me that her mom is really cool. well, wish me luck!
