Kaorin runs a brush through her hair and rushes for her bedroom door because Sakaki-san is waiting for her-- then stops short and rushes back to her mirror, because Sakaki-san is waiting for her. It hits her like one of Kagura's snowballs, cold and hard, and suddenly the outfit she spent an hour choosing isn't enough, her hair is all wrong and-- is that a pimple!?
"Kaorin?"
And, oh, there she is. Sakaki-san. Cool and beautiful and glancing Kaorin over.
"Cute," she says. Then, "Are you...?"
"Sorry, I'm ready," Kaorin says, and it's as true as it will ever be.
