WTF is Patriot Day?
My TV doesn't receive any channels and I don't have regular access to the internet and if I want to read the newspaper I have to go downtown to read it at the library or walk a few blocks to buy one. Therefore, I didn't even realize what day today is until I logged in to freaking Livejournal. And I'm feeling pretty good about that fact.
I would hope that the various media are focusing on the more immediate news of the country and the world, instead of whacking off with the American flag like they love to do...but I don't hold much hope. So once I go home I will continue to ignore the news media.
