About embedding the image, right click on the image and select "copy image url" (the link should end with an image extension). That's the direct picture link which you use to post.
ne, i should try doing this then... and see if it works... i tried using the URL but it didn't work the first time... LJ doesn't like my drawings anymore... T^T
hummm.... maybe the way i used to embed it turned it into a kind of prevew... actually i can't see the image bigger than 488x600 too... but the link to the image is still there! nori-chan couldn't see the image as well...
just checked my post again, if you right click on the image i posted and click on 'show image" (i suppose... it's in portuguese for me xP) you can see it bigger! but i prefer the 488x600 size... the original size is too big! xD
I guess it's pixiv maybe. Like they don't allow images to be embedded somewhere else. I could see the image before in my comment but I can't anymore. Oh well, it suffices to just link to the image. I suppose you would have to use a different image host if you want to post a preview.
When I click on the image in pixiv, it says I have to sign up if I want to see it bigger. It's okay, the size is fine the way it is :D
