Work sucked again. Too many people working.
I alphabetized the DVD Foreign, Animation, and Special Interest sections. They look nice. Brandi let me do them because I'm always over there.
From 8 1/2 to Zhou Yu's Train; Akira to Van Helsing. I don't remember any A or Z titles from the Special Interest section. But someone put Yellow Sumarine and American Pop in Special Interest - duh, they go in Animation. I know. Nobody else gives a shit about this. I love my store (not really the job so much) and I want it to look nice. I saw that we have Almodovar's Dark Habits on DVD, so I rented that and Dead Man Walking; I love Sean Penn and haven't seen the whole thing.
And A Very Long Engagement was sooo good. I'm torn between that and Amelie, part of which I watched this afternoon.
After work John called me and invited me to Teazer's. I saw a bunch of UHS kids there. Ugh. Thank God only one of them said hi - Drew Smith. I'd rather have had no one say hi.
But the tea was really good once it's steeped/whatever. John and I went to In n Out, and everyone showed up. Annie got glasses. John got new glasses. Daniel wore his glasses. We all looked the same. Goddamn black frame glasses. Anyway. I have to get up at 8 and go to church with Annie. It'll be nice to see Phil and Whitney Freeman again. Maybe we'll hang out afterwards. Who knows?
I don't work tomorrow, Monday, or Tuesday. Billy Corgan is on Saturday. Denise offered to cover my shift, even though I'd rather have Teresa do it. She probably won't.
I bought Parliment 100s Lights tonight because they were $3.24 a pack. I opened them when I got home and tried to take out the foil. Apparently the fold over the top is only part of a large piece that goes down to the bottom. So I ripped it out and the cigarettes flew all over the sidewalk. I had a helluva time getting them back in the pack.
I need to go to sleep. I listen to "Bona Drag" all the time now. It's just going to stay in my cassette deck in my car.
