Had a crazy baking urge this week, which managed to fill up whatever free slot I had on Monday, Wednesday and today.
First up, Hazelnutte-Vanilla Pavlova Cookies~:
I made some vanilla cookies, the short-cut-chill-for-however-long-you-wanna recipe. Hasn't been turning out well, although they taste pretty good. Laurie-twin? Some troubleshooting help?:
- Which ingredients give what kinda charecteristics to cookies? For example, does adding more eggs make the cookies harder? And flour? (You've posted a really good article from Cooks Illus. on it, but I can't seem to find it now.)
- Is there a less sweet alternative to white sugar? I've been told that my Pavlova cookies are too sweet. ._. Even if it tastes awesome...
And I'll be going on semi-hiatus, like many of the other studying folks on my f-list. I don't know for sure if I'm able to come online everyday from now on.
