But I did! In the first picture, the cozy is on the egg that's on the left front in the second picture:) I put him back in the carton for the group shot. Then I ate him.

Does that mean the egg cosy is the finger of Doom? Whomever shall wear it will soon be consumed?

Probably, because I made it to keep my dippy eggs warm until I eat them! But I hope it doesn't mean I *have* to eat whomever wears the cosy. Because my bedside lamp was wearing it for quite a while yesterday.

that is so cute! was it difficult to knit? i'm a just-above-beginner-level knitter. i made a beanie last year, only i calculated wrong & if the wearer has an elongated head, it's the beanie for them. but otherwise, it looks a bit floppy.

It was pretty easy - it's like a very little beanie, really:) I didn't use a pattern, just kind of winged it, so it came out a bit bigger than I thought it would, but it works fine, just fits over the egg cup and all when I thought it would sort of just sit on the egg...
