House, house, books.
Hello, I am still here.
We've moved house - did anyone not know that yet? The new place is good, and I'm enjoying living in Northcote, although it is rather full of hipsters. We're close to High St, so close to shops etc, the library is in walking distance as are two sorts of public transport (three if you count buses, but I don't) and we have an *amazing* view.
We're not done unpacking yet - all the vital stuff is done, kitchen stuff & clothes etc, and I'm about halfway through unpacking my books. I've been helping my sister out a lot lately though, minding the twins or entertaining Evie, and I do actually have to be home to unpack...
I went for a walk Thursday, looking for op-shops - found two, one of which was okay, but I was kind of expecting more - don't hipsters love op-shops? There are a lot of second-hand clothes shops, but they're not the same.
Going to see a circus show tomorrow, La Vie by Les 7 doigts de la main at the Famous Spiegeltent. I'm looking forward to it, Les 7 doigts de la main are supposed to be amazing.
