XD I didn't really notice that about the PS2, but I guess it's not that surprising to me with the performance of the Go lately ^^;;

The some difference is it's screen is larger (I think) and it also slides up to reveal the controls like some phones do with their keypads. The only other main difference is that it's like the DSi was to the DS Lite, except worse. The Go is a download only machine with no slots to put game cartridges/UMDs whereas with the regular PSP, it can play UMDs/physical games and I think download them too (could be mistaken on the last part).

Of course though, since they took out the UMD port, downloading is the only way to play games and there's not of interest in that it seems, especially when you get something like Birth by Sleep which so far there hasn't been talk of a downloadable version from what I've seen.

They could always do something like this, but in my opinion, they kinda shot themselves in the foot with this one (like they did with backwards compatitably for the PS3).

DSi XL is essentially an DSi only with more calories fatter bigger. XD Not much of a difference.

I never understood the sliding thing. Of course, I have an older cell phone that has a flip-cover and only 10 buttons for numbers. >_>

Wow, that sucks. Lately I wonder what Sony is thinking, between the original retail price and backwards compatibility issues of the PS3 and taking the cartridge slot out of the PSP. Didn't the DSi take out the GBA cartridge slot? I haven't even looked into buying one since I'm content with my DS Lite.

Also, the name DSi XL bothers me. It won't kill you to spell things out instead of abbreviating them, Nintendo.

XD Neither have I. I like my purple flip-phone, other than the lack of charm space and the service provider (I just have issues with them XD). I'd be far too paranoid about scratching the screen with a slider. And my brother-in-law had a Chocolate phone once, but it broke due to the whole sliding action >.<

Yeah, of course, I forgot one important bit about the Go which was the price. They set it right at launch at a $250, which is exactly $50 cheaper than the current PS3 on the market. Talk about smart huh? "Let's make tons of money by over-pricing the stuff! :D"

It kind of makes sense for the DSi to loose the GBA slot, as wonderful as it is to have a slot for it. At least with the DSi, they had the format of the DS cartridges to fall back on (and I've heard that the DSi store stinks in comparison to others too), whereas Sony basically kissed the UMDs goodbye *sighs*
DSis (WTFark is the plural term? @.@) aren't that great anyways. Sort of something I'd get if my Lite kicked the bucket for good. It's not that much of a decent upgrade to worry about honestly.

LOL Thinking about "DSi Extra-Large" makes me suddenly think you're going to somewhere like McDonalds to get one XD
"*walks up to counter* Hi, I'd like to get a blue DSi to go please."
"Would you like to supersize to XL? It'll only cost you $xx more!"
"*shrugs* Eh, sure. Why not."

I don't even know what "DSi" stands for. Nintendo has weird naming conventions. (I'm still sad that the "Wii" wasn't the "Revolution".)

lol McDonalds.
"Would you like to supersize that?"
"I would have told you if I wanted to supersize it."
"Would you like a drink with that?"
"I would have told you if I wanted a drink."

Someday I'm going to actually say that instead of my timid "no thanks".

I think the 'i' stands for 'eye' as in the camera eyes of the DSi ^^;; I often wonder why they got the Wii though. It's not a bad name when you think about it (Sony is far more uncreative with their names XD), but I kinda want to know why they picked that too o.O

XD I can't remember the last time I was ever asked to supersize in a restaurant. Normally it's just in a movie theatre. But that's a fun way of answering them XD
