haven't really updated in forever, so i figured i'd update now because i have something cute. i've been student teaching this semester, and it's going great. yesterday one of my students, chatel, asked me in the morning what the messenger's job was to do. (we have a bunch of classroom jobs and the kids rotate week to week.. this was his first time as messenger) so i told him, "so anytime ms. yaya or i ask you to deliver a message or something, you would go and do that." and he just said, okay and when to his seat. a little later in the day, during social studies, ms. yaya asked chatel to deliver something to the office. he comes over to me on his way out the door and says, "ms. stephanie, MY FIRST JOB!!" you could just hear the excitement in his voice and see his excitement because he tensed his whole body up, waved the piece of paper in the air, and had a huge smile plastered on his face. it was the cutest thing in the world. i wish i could re-enact it for you. it was the cutest. i just wanted to share it because it was funny.
