My acid test for fanart is 'did I recognise the character before I read the blurb'. Applying it to this, yes they more than pass (and I am a huge Good Omens fan so if I thought your portraits sucked, I'd just shut up). Aziraphale looks - worried.

I've looked again at the list of places I could exhibit, and decided that I don't have to do it all at once. There's an exhibition coming up that's closer to get to and where I won't have to run the gauntlet of 'selection' so I think I'm going to do that first. If I actually sell something there, I'll feel encouraged to take the next step!

I think because it's basically a hobby that I am trying to get good at/ get validation for, rather than a career exactly, I'm being a bit more laid-back about not having to approach it at 1000 miles an hour than some things I've done in the past.

I think it's great that you're making art for those auctions.
I suppose the £5 might partly be to stop the selectors from being totally swamped, because the community centre wall is limited in size and not infinitely extendable? Or it's a fund-raising ploy... It does sound a little tactless, though!
