I drew this in the garden when we were on holiday. It took me much longer than I expected (buildings are hard, and so are coloured pencils!) and is a bit meh, really, but I like the swirly sky, and that spike in the middle distance is where Brythen found the dead seal, to his enormous delight. The island opposite is Tresco, and the building you can just see behind the dunes in the middle distance is Tresco Abbey.
Quick charcoal thing. Although I am pretty sure if this was not a self portrait, any self-respecting subject would be horrified by it, I rather like it. I look menacing. I quite like looking menacing.
