He is a very odd-looking thing! I keep speculating about the ears, and hover between him having borrowed them from some pointer-ish ancestor, or a saluki-ish thing. Although I think if the ears are saluki, there must be something chunky in there as well because he's quite chunky for a saluki x...

We used a harness for Sal as she initially pulled more than shads but he had a collar. I do like a harness though.
