Harder = Healthier.

Saturday was much harder, so I decided to eat a healthier lunch. (Well, healthier than Long John Silver's.)

I only like a little salad with my Ranch dressing.

I had lunch with my friend from class (who was also taking the test) and throughout the test, I resolved to myself that I'd remember "this question" and "that question", so I could discuss them with him over lunch. However, when I left, I could hardly remember where I parked my car. It's strange how a test can you leave you absolutely senseless.

Today I wasn't sure how to feel. I think I rocked the substantive law part, which was comprised of five sections. The Legal Research... I just don't know. I hope for the best.

It's just that they expect you to know all kinds of things that simply do not matter. For example, you have to memorize all these different types of legal books and which ones are official and unofficial. Well, I'm sorry. The status of a book isn't going to help me answer my legal questions. Every book leads to ten other books. Even if you start in the middle you can work your way one way or the other.

Ok?

Geez.

After the test, we had a whole dinner thing planned. My bubba, my special friend, my bestest and her baby girl, and me and the Beau were all going to cook roast, taters, and carrots, and have a nice relaxing dinner at home. I was looking forward to it more than there are words to convey. After being so stressed about jobs and what-not and having my brain ground into dust two days in a row; I would've done anything to kick back and mellow out.

Unfortunately, I ended up spending $22.00 I didn't have on a dinner no one ate and watching in amazement as a grown man peeled out in front of my house and sped around the corner because I hadn't purchased the meat of his choice. (And I'm not referring to the Beau-Beau for once...)

THANK GOD for my bestest who immediately agreed to meet me at OTB for a MUCH needed margarita.

I just don't know what I'd do without my girls.
