Morning Pugs.

In case anyone has ever wondered, this is what it looks like when a pug pouts:

This display of disdain was brought about by a number of factors. The relocating of her bed was probably the most major. As a chain reaction, it caused her to move from her previously warm, comfy, spot. That forced her cross a cold floor to the new position. Everyone knows, it takes a minute for you to warm your bed back up.

You'd think she'd cut me some slack considering she got to spend ALL DAY with her Aunt yesterday. She got to go to a basketball game, had grapes & apples, and even had a playmate! I guess these aren't things that dogs take into consideration in the mornings when they're grumpy... I suppose hiding that little face from me is the most emotionally damaging act she can bear to inflict upon me so early in the day.

Regardless, while my spoiled piglet was participating in endlessly entertaining activities, I was stuck in a big office alone, working. I was moderately proud that my new part-time employers found me trust-worthy enough to leave me in their brand new, high-tech office alone. (I mean, what is it? ...My third or fourth day?) That has to mean they're impressed with me, right? I was surprised when I arrived and the boss said he was heading out. He instructed me to lock myself in, then delve into something he'd left on a desk for me.

I did as I was told. The building creaked a little, so I turned on the media player on my phone. It played all the way through my playlist and they still hadn't made it back. Thirty minutes from 'shut-down', I heard the locks start clicking on the back door. It was the wife of the boss. She started hollering for me immediately, to make sure she didn't scare me when she appeared around the corner. Shortly thereafter, the boss arrived. He instructed me to shut down early and go home. I happily did so.

I snapped a few pictures of the new place...

Behind me:

In front of me:

To the left:

To the right of me is just a wall. That desk to the left is the most cluttered workspace I've ever been forced to work behind. You can't move anywhere near the desk without getting 5-10 random sticky notes stuck all over your body.

There is no excuse.
