The numbers:
Head: 40 cm
+2 cm (from 2mos) 40th percentile
Length: 25.5 inches
+2.5 inches 90th percentile
Weight: 17 lbs 3 oz
+3 lbs 9oz >97th percentile (that's as high as the chart goes)
Again her body is huge for her age but her head is small. Again they reassured me that it's okay, and her head will grow as it needs to. I'm not convinced, but at least she has her looks to fall back on. :)
She can do all the things she should be able to do at this age, and all her bits are working properly.
Helena is amazing with her shots. She screamed bloody murder while she was getting them, and for a couple minutes afterwards, then got started going after the bead toy that was on the table with her. Every once in a while she remembers that she is hurting, but she's having a curious day, so anything new or shiny will distract her, I'm thinking of heading up to Target for a mirror and bead toy since she liked the one in the office so much. Maybe they can distract her from her teeth as well.
