not much has happened. i had a really drag-ass unproductive week last week, and i'm so glad it's over. i'm not glad the weekend is over, but it's 840 on monday morning and i'm wide awake and have been for an hour so i'd say i'm off to a good start.

on saturday night jason and i went out in st. pete and met up with dan and mike, who i haven't seen since my birthday...good times. then the clocks changed and it was all the sudden only 1 again. that probably happened to you too.

jason is coming to massachusetts when i go home for christmas. not the whole 2 goddamned weeks that i'll be there, but the weekend before christmas itself.... so, yeah. if any of you guys that live in boston feel like letting a couple of homos crash on your couch/floor...let me know because i don't want to spend the whole weekend of the 18-20 on cape cod.
it's kind of a big deal, cuz he's meeting my family for the first time. this is a big deal not only because popular culture has turned meeting the parents into an event...an event that seems as if it could only play out as a fiasco. hopefully not. my family can be norm...nevermind. but i met his mom and sister on saturday and it was fine.

ANYWAYS. i have to go read some war poetry and maybe take a shower before class.
adios

ps- if you haven't already voted in florida (well, you suck because it's been open for over a week and now you have to wait in line tomorrow) but please vote no on amendment 2. it's not only homophobic (arguments in favor of the amendment say that it "protects" children from being "indoctrinated" into the gay lifestyle) but it would also take health care away from thousands of people, mostly senior citizens.

sorry, i have to slip that little PSA into this entry since tomorrow is election day.
