As I commented the other day, it's almost impossible to make a sarcastic or ironic statement about this situation without hearing some idiot on the media repeating it seriously. What a disgusting situation this all is.

Interesting article. 7 out of 10.

Every Australian knows that David HIcks' defender is Major Michael Mori, not Dan.
That's picky, I know, but what other details did she get wrong?

... besides implying that a trial in a real US court could have restored legitimacy to the whole process. Nothing could have done that, after the man had been tortured and incarcerated for five years without charge.

At least David Hicks is coming home, (hopefully) will not face any more torture, and will be released within the year. Shall we now forget about the other prisoners in Guantanamo Bay?
