I heard this song on American Roots this weekend for the first time in years. It had been so long that I kinda forgot I knew it. When I heard it a sweet flood of memories crashed over me, and it's been stuck in my head since.
More than anything it makes me think of Austin backyard bonfire parties and lots of radical dirty people and our secret/ ignored communions of cheap beer, cheaper pot, excessive heat, stupid stunts, and the occasional avocado wrestling match, until 5:00 am, when the temperature would sink below 80 for a little while.
I love that in the "related videos" section there a bunch of anonymous people doing their own renditions for the you tube nets
