this movie pwns me.
Holy crap. I just finished watching Children of Men, and I ...I think my head's about to explode with the awesome. If I'd known Cuaron directed this, I probably would have seen it sooner, but the only place I ever heard about it was from my friends saying "OMGWTF AWESOME" - which of course, they were all right. That makes me think that either I'm much less observant of the movie industry than I used to be, or they didn't spend enough on advertising for this movie. Seriously, all that stuff they've been advertising like crazy recently (Apocalypto, for instance) is complete TRASH compared to this movie.
Even though it's 1AM, and even though I JUST sat through 2 hours of this movie ...I'm actually considering re-watching, just to catch all the intricacies that I know I missed. I didn't even notice until almost the end that they were filming freaking 5 full minutes of battle without ever changing cameras. *boggles.*
