Oh, you pulled out some clever engineering gibberish, with your k-values and modulus of elasticity and strain - however, that sort of class? Is what 2nd or 3rd year MEs take, not 1st years. No wonder poor Wallace was failing the class, because he shouldn't be in it in the first place! :P
Also, speaking from personal experience, engineering + sports does not mix, and Wallace is pretty damn naive if he thinks his classes are going to get LESS time consuming. This is why most college athletes are business majors. :P
