it seems like I don't love this blog anymore
its sometimes hard to update this blog, as its mostly about my life and all that, and I think I am boring.
I have a few new posts on the knitting project blog. But that is going slowly too. I can't knit during my current show, well I could, but I don't have any easy projects on needles, just this blanket which is at a complicated stage.
I get congratulations on a job I haven't officially gotten yet, don't get me wrong, I am 99% sure I am going to take it, since the only real con is its at the intiman. Alas. But I would get to create a brand new position.. and hopefully do it right, plus with a new property master, so, we could really make it suit our needs. I am sort of sad that Freed is leaving that job, she is a terrible manager, but I do like her as a person, and I think I might have figured her out. With a new person, its an unknown quality.
Um... lets see, the cats are good.
My roommate is going in to see his surgery team on Friday, this is the preliminary evaluation, and its a bunch of tests, and meetings with the various folks, nutritionist, pyshcitrist surgeon etc. They may give him is 1000 calorie diet he has to be on for 6 weeks before surgery. Oh, did I not tell you, he is having gastric bypass, probably around February. I am trying to be wholeheartedly supportive on this, and I think he might be sick of it at the moment, but it will be a huge change in his lifestyle and it can't help but effect me too. Plus its a very hard thing to do. I am going on a diet when he goes on his pre-op diet, and I might quit smoking either around that time, or when he has his surgery. The way I put that to him and myself, is this will give us a free pass in grumpy. We will try to be good, but its a time out from being bothered by someone elses grumpiness, in the end, we will just forget it happened. Mostly, he will moan and bitch and I want to be able to do that to.
What else, been reading a lot about the economy, interesting, fascinating how it all fits together. I have been avoiding politics and the campaign as much as possible, I know who I am voting for, and why. I have issues with my candidate that the other option doesn't make any better. So.
thats my life...
oh, did I mention the show I am working on right now is SOOOOOO Boring. At least for me, the audience seems to like it well enough.
