And Then There Were Two

I just saw that Peter Graves died. Jim Phelps was one of my crushes when I was a kid so this makes me very, very sad. I'm actually a little surprised that he died before his brother, James Arness. Besides being younger, Peter always looked like he was the healthier of the two. Of course neither aged very well.

When my best friend and I were kids, we made lists of our man crushes. We would update our list every so often and the order would change but for the most part, my top 5 was always the same. All of the men on my list were probably 45-50 years old at the time so if they aren't already dead now, they will be soon. I know there's a list around here somewhere but off the top of my head, I think Patrick Macnee (88) and Efrem Zimbalist Jr (91) are the only two still around. It's just a matter of time.

And just so you know, my best friend was thrilled when I told her I liked this guy on CSI. Why was she thrilled? Because he was alive and at the time, under the age of 55.
