Not a bad episode, especially in the second half, when Brass is around more but overall, I was kind of meh about it.
When Brass is standing in that hospital room, talking to the killer, the look in his eyes is just...deadly. It was such a great bit of subtleness by PG and definitely conveyed that if he could, he'd tear that guy apart with his bare hands. Oh, and what was really interesting to me was how black his eyes looked at that moment. Later though, they were back to blue.
As a person with a port wine stain birthmark (and in the process of getting it removed), I'm very happy the killer didn't have his on his face, like most of us born with it do. Don't really want to explain why but I just am.
Still too much attention to Greg's storyline, especially when others (Brass) have gotten very little continuity this season.
Hey, look, Brass and Sofia had an actual scene together. Wow!
Oh, and at the end, when Grissom and Sara are leaving, did anyone else notice how empty the place was and how odd that seemed? It's a crime lab; it doesn't close. You'd think there'd be just as many people around in the morning as there are at night. I did have to laugh at the thought of the first person who figures out they're a couple is probably the janitor.
You know, all in all, I'm really not liking this season much. I know it's because I expected more Brass continuity and the lack of that has basically ruined season 7 for me. I'm sure there are a few of you who feel the same way.
