The Countdown Begins

Surgery is in the morning. They had me scheduled for 7:30 but I got a call this morning and it's been bumped to 10am. Can't say I'm disappointed because I have to be there an hour and a half before surgery and the thought of getting there at 6am was not pleasant. Now I don't have to be there until 8:30.

Good luck with the surgery. Make sure to get a cool fashionable sling, I'm thinking one sporting your favorite male obsessions cause if you have to wear one at least it should be good-looking and fashionable!

Cool, fashionable sling is black, which is much better than the blue ones I've seen. But after watching a marathon of Duck Dynasty last night I'm thinking camouflage would be kind of rocking, especially for this area, which is about as far from DD as one can get.

As for male obsessions, I do have an oversized T-shirt with Paul Guilfoyle's picture on it that I might have to wear at some point...

Everything went well and so far the pain isn't too bad, although I expect it'll kick up a couple of notches today. I'm on disability until the end of August so we should try to get together for lunch or dinner or something. I haven't seen you in ages.
