What did you do in 2010 that you've never done before?
Bought partial season tickets to a professional sports team (Capitals).
Did you keep your New Years Resolutions and will you make more?
If I had resolutions, I probably didn't keep them. I won't make resolutions but I will make goals.
Did anyone close to you give birth?
No
Did anyone close to you die?
My grandmother in March, my stepfather in December.
What countries did you visit?
Sadly, none
What would you like to have in 2011 that you lacked in 2010?
More time spent with close friends and more contact with distant friends. More travel. More time off. More sleep.
What date from 2010 will be etched on your memory?
March 18th and December 16th.
What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Getting the trim around the windows repaired. It might sound like nothing but it's been an issue for years. Finally getting it fixed means I can sell my house.
What was your biggest failure?
Not making better use of my time
Did you suffer illness or injury?
Just an ongoing battle with plantar fasciitis.
What was the best thing you bought?
Life Fitness recumbent bike. Partial season Caps tickets.
Whose behavior merited celebration?
Lynne and Tasha, the two people who work for me. I couldn't have made it through the year without them.
Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
The finance director who works for CFO (appalled) and the CSI writers (depressed)
Where did most of your money go?
Tucker and the house
What did you get really really excited about?
Caps tickets - playoffs last season and games this season, my neighbor going to her first hockey game.

Spent Christmas Eve with the parents and my youngest sister. Spent Christmas alone but on the phone with family and friends

Just me and the cats but so far I've spent a lot of time on the phone with my youngest sister, getting her through an anxiety attack.

A resolution to Tucker's urinary issues. A replacement for the treadmill.

A new mattress

Didn't really have one. I did love The Hangover, which I saw in 2010

I turned 47 and since my grandmother died the day before, I was probably making travel arrangements

There's such a thing as a fashion concept? My concept is to wear whatever I have pressed.

Bill. Met him through a mutual friend during the hockey playoffs last season.
Just as an aside, I found this Paleyfest CSI DVD from 2001 on Amazon and bought it. Paul Guilfoyle is freaking hilarious and surprisingly, so is George Eads. But PG wins for hilarity because he's so fidgety and he's constantly playing with his right index finger. Of course the person who comments on the changing color of BP's hair was pretty funny. And I think Marg actually looks better now than she did then.
