You can restrict messages to only be read by certain people as well. The rules are all written on the last page.

The question was posed for entirely hypothetical and academic purposes.
I think it's a bit too useful to see what people are saying to just throw away.
Interesting, though. With this chronicle, it might be a bit more difficult for the victor to rewrite history as they see fit.
