Waiting for nothing

I just had a good work out and a good dinner. Things are looking good.
So I went to see the Dresden Dolls a few weeks ago. They were awesome. They covered "War Pigs" (Black Sabbath) and "Such Great Heights" (The Postal Service) which were both really cool. They also played new stuff, old stuff and extended jams of their songs. Their opening act, Regina Spektor (or something) was great. She played piano and sang. Her style was obscure in a way, but she had agreat voice. All in all it was a great night, even though Mallorie and I had to drive all the way down to Providence and back.
The past week was good, nothing too exciting happened. Oh yea the Patriots won the Superbowl.
I went with Seth to see Mudvayne last Saturday night. The guitarist and the drummer both had longer hair than me! That was a plus. They played really well. Their bassist is amazing. I recently found out that my Uncle worked as a bass tech for both Mudvayne and Slipknot. Wicked cool.
Valentines day was cool shit. I was kinda stressed about getting something good for Mallorie but I got her a CD by the Shins and Burberry perfume. She got me some sweet candles and incense. Best of all, she got me this big ass Reeses heart! I'm still not finished with it. Goddamn I love her. Then we went to eat at Mexico Lindo. I'm pretty much broke at this point.
Everyone better go to my band's two shows this week. We are now called The Escape. Thursday night we're playing at MHS for the GSA Coffeehouse. It's at 7pm and it's only three bucks! Same time and cost for our Friday show at the Hope Alliance Church. We're headlining both shows, and Noisebox is playing with us both nights. Epoch is with us Thursday and Mike's sick thrash band Distopia is gonna be playing on Friday. Yea, you're coming.
I need a fucking car.
